Founded in 1981, Wellpool was the first company to introduce polypropylene long fiber yarn and PP carpet production technology
into Taiwan. In order to promote industrial transformation and provide more secure and durable building materials, Wellpool migrated to the production of calcium silicate boards and fiber cement boards and other environmentally friendly panel products, always upholding its aim of stable product quality and concerted efforts in R&D and innovation.Wellpool has achieved the goal of “Industry leadership with innovative applications” and has gradually shifted the gravity of its production operations to green building materials. Currently, Wellpool has obtained the green building materials label from the Construction and Planning Agency, the environmental protection label from the Environmental Protection Administration, and was accredited with the ISO 9001 quality
standard.
Innovation with Distinctive Quality in the Industry
Wellpool has committed its resources to the development of different types of calcium silicate boards ever since its establishment. In processing, Wellpool works with the Building Structure Sound Lab of the Ministry of the Interior to upgrade the sound proof coefficient of partitions through modular system design. In manufacturing, Wellpool has launched the automation of the production line and made ceaseless efforts in upgrading its quality while improving production capacity and ensuring product quality. In addition, fire agencies have recognized their acceptance in the fire protection coefficient of Wellpool products and often require the builder to present the fire protection certificate issued by Wellpool before acceptance of project completion.
