UTM Internet Security: Taking Cybersecurity to the Next Level

The proliferation of the use of the internet has made cybersecurity a key issue for all businesses. Traditional defenses focused on intercepting external threats lacked the means to effectively contain internal transmission. The “UTM Internet Security” product was developed by Aion in response to integrate Intrusion Protection System (IPS), WebGuard (WG) & domain blacklisting, anti-virus and blocking of viral downloads.

External attacks are blocked by IPS through automatic interception and discarding of attack packets. Attacks and counter-measures are also logged; WG is configured to blacklist more than 1,200,000 websites by default; AV uses packet-sniffing technology and network latency to automatically intercept and destroy infected files containing virus, trojan, spyware or ransomware. The built-in engine can use viral signatures to detect more than 3,200,000 types of different viruses.
