Taiwan SECOM Group entered the food & beverage industry to realize its strategy of business expansion and diversification. Living Plus Food & Beverage Co., Ltd. was established in 2019 to oversee all existing food & beverage-related brands, now split into restaurants under the self-developed “Zhan” brand, and a newly created “Licensed Overseas Brand Department.” Management, promotion and innovation in the food & beverage business are achieved through a systemized business strategy with multiple brands.

In 2020, C-Kitchen by FUK opened its doors on Renai Road in Taipei's East District. Featuring an unique gourmet style that pairs craft beer with premium steak, the restaurant is becoming a popular dining option among the urban elite. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are designed in a distinct industrial decor, showcasing a rugged and bold ambiance, with a spacious interior and comfortable seating plan. This is paired with special restaurant events, making it perfect for gatherings among friends or patrons from all walks of life. C-Kitchen by FUK upholds the artisanal spirit of dishes cooked over direct fire, and imported Josper, a million-dollar Spanish oven perfect for charcoal-fired and smoked special steak meals smoked with longan wood. A rich selection of fine wine and craft beer offers guests an environment that features a sophisticated and intoxicating atmosphere.

Creating Borderless Dining Environments with Unique Cuisine

The cultural diversity of Taiwan means there is great acceptance of unique cuisine from other countries and regions. Living Plus traveled to different parts of the world to search out distinctive local food & beverage brands. Such brands are evaluated on their suitability and then introduced to the Taiwanese market through licensing agreements. The Group’s own POS terminals, central kitchens and logistic resources are used to smooth the technology transfer process. To date, Living Plus has introduced “The Soup Spoon”, the Singaporean food & beverage brand known as the “Starbucks of the Soup World” to Taiwan, offering a wide variety of soups that cover the special flavors of various countries around the world. “The Soup Spoon” is not only soup that you can drink, it is also a soup that you can “eat” and enjoy in delectable pleasure! The restaurant allows you to experience the feeling of traveling around the world in the time it takes to drink a bowl of soup. In addition, through the innovative automatic ordering kiosk, The Soup Spoon improves the ordering process's efficiency and significantly reduces human contact during the current COVID-19 epidemic. Since then, it has expanded to five stores, including Dazhi, Breeze Taipei Station, Q Square, Taipei 101, and Banqiao GlobalMall.
